Congratulations to this week's Z-96 Teacher of the Week Winner, Ms Courtney Murie the band director at Destin Middle School. From the beginners to the advanced, the marching band to the concert band; Ms Murie exposes her students to all different levels of musical literature. The students appreciate the time and effort she puts into her lessons. She is loved by all of her students. Z-96 has been honoring these local heroes since 1999. We show up at the school and surprise them with prizes from AAMCO, Edible Arrangements, The Trophy Center, The Northwest Florida Daily News and more.
