Congratulations to this week's Z-96 Teacher of the Week Winner, Mrs. Anna Whitehead a first grade Teacher at Elliott Point Elementary School. Mrs. Whitehead brings a soft gentle touch to teaching with creative lessons that not only keep the students interested but, makes them eager to learn more. A parent and colleague also adds that Mrs. Whitehead is humble and soft spoken yet, her very presence reminds us what teaching is all about.  Z-96 has been honoring these local heroes since 1999. We show up at the school and surprise them with prizes from El Paso/La Rumba, AAMCO, Edible Arrangements, The Trophy Center, The Northwest Florida Daily News and more.
