Congratulations to this weeks Z-96 Teacher of the Week Winner, Mrs. Joyce Pool a Math Teacher at Destin Middle School. The students appreciate the extra time she gives of herself, whether it be helping on specific homework or tutoring in general, to assure all of her students are keeping up in her class. She lives the philosophy of “no child left behind.” Z-96 has been honoring these local heroes since 1999. We show up at the school and surprise them with prizes from Ruth’s Chris Steak House, Aamco, Edible Arrangements, The Trophy Center, The Northwest Florida Daily News and more.
