Dog Daze 2018- POSTPONED
Dog Daze, the area’s foremost festival for dogs and the families that love them, has been postponed indefinitely due to soggy and unsafe conditions created by large amounts of standing water at Liza Jackson Park. Friendship Veterinary Hospital and the Greater Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce announced the news at noon on Friday, November 9.
“Upon consulting with our sponsors and festival staff, everyone agrees that the park’s soggy conditions and standing water would create unsafe conditions and make the festival very uncomfortable for all participants,” said Cindy Berry, the Dog Daze committee chair. “We’ll keep you updated on further developments as soon as we can. We’re all very disappointed and were looking forward to meeting your dogs and your families at this always-fun event.”
For questions, contact Rachelle Graves at the FWB Chamber – 850-244-8191.
