Shelter House Cell Phone Collection Fundraiser

Shelter House is collecting used, old and broken cell phones. The cell phones will be recycled and proceeds from the collection efforts will be applied to the victims of domestic violence in Okaloosa and Walton counties.

Cell phone collection “drop boxes” are currently established at the following locations in the community: Beach Community Banks, Whitney Banks, Airport Road Church of Christ, Destin Church of Christ, Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Boys and Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast, Troy University campuses, Fort Walton Beach Church of Christ, Christ the King Episcopal Church and Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort.

Shelter House is the state-certified domestic violence shelter serving victims of domestic violence in Okaloosa and Walton counties. Services provided include 24-hour hotline, crisis counseling, advocacy, outreach, prevention and confidential shelter.
